TOWER OF SPADONI (LU)

Stumble this article (Important.? Bah, everything is relative!) On a tower where they do not know the significance nor its use in ancient times, someone was supposed to be a Lighthouse .

The other day, passing by the road I wanted to photograph it and try to "exhume" a little bit, exaggerating with this exposure HDR.
shame to leave in the hands of vandals and the City all'incuria membership.
But in Italy we are made like this ... The road we turn around, but those who see more?

only hope that someone influential one day while running with the car, noticing that it exists.
Regards.

CAPANNORI. TOWER OF SPADONI.
Our Residents and Italy asking to protect the building

crumbling tower of the ancient Spadoni now being targeted by vandals.
saved the tower must be of Spadoni. I ask the citizens, it also asks Italy Nostra. In recent months, the monument has been targeted by vandals who have daubed with slogans of all kinds, which are added to those already present on the outer walls for years and never cleaned. The ancient tower, probably a lighthouse for years pay in terrible conditions. Not only the actions of vandals, but also the carelessness and the weather are putting to the test. Cracks in walls, plaster comes off the roof and even a plant that is growing and that could jeopardize coverage. "The building is a typical feature of this landscape - explains Roberto Mannocci, president of Our Lucca Italy - and should have a better fate. The problem that can not be used for particular actions or activities can not be transformed as the headquarters of such organizations or persons. This means that a restoration would cost only for those it did load, but without benefits, except for having saved a commodity of great value in terms of landscape and architecture. " And Italy is not our only need the tower to be restored and enhanced, but the landscape that surrounds it. "I think for example - Mannocci ends - the light poles that break the landscape and the restructuring of the courts."
